Baby Bedtime Stories – Peekaboo Moon
We received Peekaboo Moon at Christmas for my youngest daughter. She fell in love with it immediately and it became a regular bed time story for her! It definitely deserves it’s spot in my Baby Bedtime Stories recommendations! Peekaboo Moon is a bedtime book by Marie Birkinshaw, illustrated by Kate Merritt and published by Ladybird.
Baby Bedtime Stories – Peekaboo Moon Review
This book is a lift the flap book. On every page there’s a cute little rhyme and a baby hidden beneath their favourite bedtime toys. You move the flap down to see the baby, then you and your little one are prompted to say “Night night, baby!” On the last page, a mirror is beneath the flap, so your baby can see themselves and they know it’s their turn to say night night and go to sleep! A really cute touch.
Peekaboo Moon is a really soothing book before bed, as it’s all about tired babies going to sleep. My daughter gives each baby a kiss when she reveals them and happily tells them night night. It’s so adorable! The artwork is big and bright, but doesn’t have too much going on in a page so your baby doesn’t get overstimulated and excited.
Peekaboo Moon is a beautiful bedtime story. Cute artwork, clever rhymes and interactive for your baby. It’s also short, sweet and to the point. Everything you want in baby bedtime stories!
