Perfect for Young Riders

The Scramblebug is a foot to floor rider by QuickSmart, the same people who brought us Scuttlebug! It aims to help your child hone in on their steering and pushing skills to help transitioning to a tricycle easier! Here’s our Scramblebug Review!

    • UK £29.99
    • 1-3 Years
    • Maximum Weight 20kg

Visuals

Scramblebug is strikingly similar to the Scuttlebug. It’s got a bug design with a cute little face on the front and comes in 2 tone colour designs;

  • Bubblegum (Purple and White)
  • Beetle (Red and Black)
  • Tide (Blue and White)
  • Hornet (Green and Black)
  • Candy (Pink and White)

The Scramblebug weighs about 2.1kg and has the measurements 19.3 x 5.9 x 9.4 inches.

Features

The Scramblebug has 4 wheels instead of the usual 3 and has the ability to move in all directions. This means your child can go crazy on it, spinning, side movements, diagonal, think of a bug shaped office chair!

There’s a folding system for easy storage and the wheels are suitable for outdoors as well as indoors. You’ll have no trouble taking your child on an adventure with their Scramblebug! The wheels are quiet and won’t scratch up your floor so you won’t have any bother with your child using this indoors either.

Scramblebug Review

Another great foot to floor ride on! I honestly wasn’t even aware of this toy until browsing for new toys for my kids on the internet last week. With how well the Scuttlebug went down in our house, I thought I’d give this one a try as my youngest is expressing an interest in her sister’s Scuttlebug, much to her disgust. I heard the Scramblebug was supposed to be a little easier for younger riders, so we’ve given it a try.

This ride on has no steer unlike the Scuttlebug but the castor wheels make up for it. Your child has to move and steer the Scramblebug with their legs and not the handlebars. It allows a great freedom of movement for the little ones though.

It’s a cute design too. After a lot of thought, I picked Bubblegum (purple and white) for my youngest daughter as she doesn’t get a look in with the Scuttlebug! I love the variety they offer on these ride ons!

I think Scramblebug is definitely more accommodating to the younger riders who don’t quite grasp steering with handlebars, a 1 year old should have no trouble scrambling about on this ride on.

It’s a great ride on with a great design, it’s durable enough to go outside and quiet enough to be used indoors too. It has everything you and your child want/need in a ride on toy!

Again, I don’t have any negatives with this Scramblebug review, it does exactly what you and you’re little ones want it to do!
