Vtech Kidizoom DX Smart Watch Review

This is a fantastic way to introduce technology to your kids. The interface is very easy to use, even for the littlest smart watch owners. It’s basically all the benefits of a smart phone, without actually having to buy your child a smartphone. Your child will get to grips with apps, games, cameras and the time! Vtech have done an outstanding job on this smart watch.

The clock on the watch can be switched between digital and analogue, and there’s a little mouth button on the lower right hand side of the screen that will say the time to your child if they press it. That’s a really great way to help them read the time in both digital and analogue.

The camera is located on the very top of the watch, and isn’t so great, but it’s essentially a toy camera. It’s just a little feature for your child to play with, recording their own videos and taking their own pictures. The filters and effects are a lot of fun for them too!

It’s not laggy like I’ve found other kids technology to be, it’s got a really smooth interface and the games, which are just like little touch screen mini games, run perfectly.

There’s exercise games too, for example, “You Run, I Run!” your child will have to run to make the man on the screen run too! If they don’t do anything, the man won’t move. I love the fact that it encourages your kids to be active. There’s so much keeping kids inside and sedentary nowadays, that I believe any encouragement is great!

I really think this a great item for your kids. Technology is so important nowadays and the Vtech Kidizoom DX Smart Watch will give your children their very own, safe way to use it.
